Sunscreen (SPF 30+, broad spectrum)
If you only ever take one thing from this app: wear sunscreen. UV light harms skin at every age (the American Academy of Pediatrics literally classifies it as a hazard for kids and teens), and daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+ is the best-proven skin habit that exists. It matters double if you use acne treatments, because most of them make skin extra sun-sensitive. Oil-free, non-comedogenic versions won't clog pores.
what the evidence says
AAD recommends broad-spectrum SPF 30+ water-resistant sunscreen for everyone; AAP policy identifies UV exposure as a hazard to children and adolescents.
