Adapalene
The one retinoid with real evidence for teen acne. It's OTC and gentler than prescription retinoids, but it still causes dryness and sun sensitivity at first. Expect a rough couple of weeks while your skin adjusts, and up to 3 months for the full payoff. Start 2-3 nights a week, moisturize, wear SPF every day. If you don't have acne, you don't need it.
